Our Story
FaBB Foundation was born from a simple yet powerful vision: to create lasting change in Gambian communities through compassionate action and sustainable development. Founded in 2016 by Dr. Fatou Bah, our organization emerged from her firsthand experience witnessing the healthcare challenges faced by rural communities.
What started as a small initiative to improve maternal health services has grown into a comprehensive foundation addressing multiple aspects of community development. We believe that sustainable change comes from working alongside communities, understanding their unique needs, and building solutions together.
Today, FaBB Foundation operates across multiple regions in The Gambia, implementing programs in healthcare, education, infrastructure development, and emergency relief. Our approach emphasizes community ownership, local capacity building, and long-term sustainability.
